The Fruitful Story Of The Fuzz

Bad day? Hitting your head? You need a Hot Bath and Sweet Wine. Cherry Fuzz Club are a four piece alternative band from Leeds. Barely in their twenties they’re proving themselves to be a powerful live force combining early 90s rock n roll with a post punk attitude. Bringing together a love of Led Zeppelin, Wavves and the Orielles, Cherry Fuzz Club - Will Kell (20) guitar and vocal, Tom Cole (20) guitar, Dom Tyler (20) bass and Niall Chambers (21) drums - quickly forged their own, unmistakable sound.
Rising from the ashes of “Good Things”, Cherry Fuzz Club was born, playing their first gig at The Key Club opening for Paddy Considine’s band Riding the Low in June 2019. Since then, the Fuzz Club have released four songs in as many genres, played sets at the Hyde Park Book Club and even played a set at Nottingham’s legendary Boat Club, who have hosted the likes of Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and U2. It’s been a phenomenal year, gaining attention from the likes of Damien Morgan (Manager for the Orielles) who said, “I like them, very C86,” and Dylan Broadbent from Futuresound who said the guys had a super refreshing sound.
2020 will see them explore new ideas and continue to uncompromisingly, prise their place in the music industry. With new material ready to record they were eager to prove themselves at their upcoming gigs but the virus, put plans on hold. They’ll waste no time on their return playing the postponed gigs at Hyde Park Book Cub, Oporto and Lending Rooms. Here come the Fuzz.
